It was running great until the other day when I felt a rumble at idle and the about 40 miles later I got a very rough idle and needed full throttle to smooth it out. I bought it four months ago with an extensive MB dealer service history up until about 72000 miles. My cars is a 2003 c230k with 80,000 miles. Tomorrow I will chase all the wiring to see if anything is shorted, but I am not hopeful because the wiring looks to have bee replaced already. If I had a timing chain issue the p0010 would not come up. DTC Definition: Intake (A) Camshaft Position Actuator Circuit/Open (Bank 1) Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) : P0341. I don't see anything else that would trigger this particular code. C230 1.8 2004 with 75k miles just got check engine light on used actron pocketscan to see the codes and there's two: Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) : P0010. I have a lot of experience with these cars but I am stumped. I also changed the two camshaft position sensors using Bosch parts. I have changed the magnets using genuine MB parts and nothing changed. 2004 Mercedes Benz C230 Kompressor Color: White with Light Ash Leather Interior Details: 4 Cyl Kompressor Sport, 6 Speed Manual, CD, Sunroof, Tinted Power Windows & Central Locking, Rear Window Shade, Mileage: 97,405 Miles. The code is for an open camshaft actuator circuit bank 1 So I figured that I could deal with the p0010 code on my own.
